“It also protects children who are too young to be vaccinated and have medical conditions that prevent them from being vaccinated. Then, immunization also stops the spread of infection in the community by providing group immunity,” said IDAI’s Tropical Infection Coordination Work Unit, Dr. Nina Dwi Putri, SpA(K) through his official statement, Monday (9/5/2022).
In addition to vaccinations, Nina reminded that when children are sick, such as coughs, colds, diarrhea, fever, rashes, and others, stay at home. This is so that the children can rest well so that their recovery can be faster.

Do not panic by taking preventive measures, parents must also maintain personal and child hygiene. In maintaining the condition of the child to stay healthy or avoid certain viral infections. One, simple way to help prevent the spread of infection is to wash or sanitize your hands.
“Don’t panic. Whatever the infection is, the important thing is to always prevent it,” he said.
