Harry Laffontien (21) is humble, honest and down to earth. As a circus kid, family means everything to him. You felt that throughout the DSDS season when you saw the newly crowned superstar with his younger brother Gianni (17). Once again, it fits the picture that he doesn’t want to plan his winnings for himself, but – on the contrary – wants to share them with his whole family. A matter of course for Harry, as our video shows. There he tells us, close to tears, what he intends to do with the 100,000 euros.
DSDS winner Harry Laffontien: “We both made it!”
They are tears of happiness and relief that flow arm in arm with the brother. “We both won it. We both made it,” DSDS winner Harry whispers to his brother Gianni when he is presented with the winner’s trophy. It’s probably about a lot more than just winning a competition. It’s the story of two people who set out to find happiness. And behind it a great personal dream can be guessed. A dream that has a lot to do with music – but also a lot with family. Harry would like the 100,000 euro prize money to be spent with his loved ones. A real home is needed, as he reveals in the video.
