The only goal in the match was scored by Wilfried Zaha via the white point in the first half. Watford also ended the game minus one player after Hassane Kamara received a second yellow card in the 68th minute.
With these results, Watford are now slumped in 22nd position with 22 points from 35 matches. One point ahead of caretaker Norwich, who still have one more game remaining.
This situation means Norwich, whose 25 defeats are the most among other Premier League teams this season, can still be overtaken by Norwich in the rest of the season.
Next season Norwich and Watford will play in the Championship division. His place in the Premier League will be replaced by Fulham, the division champions, and Bournemouth as runners-up.
The competition to survive in the Premier League next season is also still fierce because it involves a number of clubs. For the time being, Everton is still occupying another red zone, although the remaining five games are still more than the teams above it in the Premier League Premier League standings so far.
