Badenweiler: Grocery store cleared after chlorine gas accident

On Saturday afternoon, after cleaning work in a grocery store in Badenweiler, strong-smelling chlorine gas formed and spread throughout the business premises. The market was cleared as a precaution on the instructions of the fire department. A total of 22 people, customers and employees, were affected. Three people complained of irritation of the respiratory tract and received outpatient treatment on site. After the fire brigade had ventilated the premises, the market could be entered again.
The rescue service was deployed with eight, the Badenweiler fire brigade with 16 emergency services.
