Authorities are searching for the suspect in a fight and attack on a subway platform and rails at a station in Brooklyn, New York City Police said.
The authorities shared a video that recorded the entire moment of the fight. The incident occurred on May 4, at about 9:45 pm, on the platform of the subway station in Broadway Junction when a 52-year-old man was approached by a suspect and they got into a verbal dispute.
At that moment the suspect showed a knife and proceeded to chase the victim who ended up with the alleged attacker on the subway tracks, the video shows and authorities confirmed. At that time the suspect cut the victim in the chest, ear, finger and head.
Fortunately, both managed to get out of the rails without danger of being run over by a train, the uniformed officer said.
The suspect fled and the victim sought medical attention on her own.
