LEGISLATIVE: The names of the candidates invested in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté by the presidential majority

Updated with the nominations of the presidential majority in Côte-d’Or and Saône-et-Loire where only two names are missing to be complete.

Joint press release of May 5, 2022:

On April 24, the French men and women renewed their confidence in Emmanuel Macron, and made a clear choice: that of unity, full employment, ecology, youth, Europe, Republic.

On June 12 and 19, the French will be able to give a majority of the project to the President of the Republic on the occasion of the legislative elections.

With candidates from all the political parties of the majority and with many candidates from civil society, it is a strong, united, diverse collective that we are presenting to you today.

In 2017, we renewed the National Assembly. We have rejuvenated and feminized it. We carried strong texts, represented our territories.

In 2022, we will continue this renewal of political life while building on the experience of the past five years. We will extend the majority to those who recognize themselves in the presidential program.

Because together, everywhere on the territory, we carry a common project: the one presented by the President of the Republic to the French.

With a majority in the National Assembly, we will be able to move forward very quickly on our priorities: purchasing power, ecology, school, health.

Deputies, local elected officials, from civil society, these women and men are committed to defending a new French and European era.

They are keen to do it with a new method, with you.

Richard FERRAND

The challenge of the legislative elections is clear: it is a question of having the capacity to act quickly, with a majority immediately at work to advance on the priorities expressed by the President of the Republic and shared by all the candidates. On ecology, on purchasing power, on health and on school, we must act quickly.

Political enlargement continues: when it is built on a common project, it is what is best for the country, and it is in the DNA of what we have been building since 2016.

The 187 candidates invested today were on the proposal of the various partners of the presidential majority. They are representative of what the majority is today: diverse, with very different backgrounds, established in the territories, in particular with many local elected representatives.

These candidates embody an additional step in the construction of our collective and in the strong solidarity that unites the various partners, with a common ambition, that of building a great political movement of unity and action for our country.

While some see legislative elections as a way to take their revenge, our objective is at the service of the French people: to give the re-elected President of the Republic a clear and solid majority to govern.
