Prince Alwaleed on April 14 challenged the buyout offer, saying the price offered by the world’s richest man Elon Musk was nowhere near Twitter’s intrinsic value given its growth prospects.
But on Thursday, he said in a tweet, happy to connect with Musk’s “new friend”.

“I believe you will be an excellent leader for Twitter to push and maximize its enormous potential,” Alwaleed said in a tweet in response to Kingdom Holding and Musk.

“Kingdom Holding Company and I look forward to launching our $1.9 billion ‘new’ Twitter and joining you on this exciting journey.”

Kingdom Holding did not respond to a Reuters request for further comment.
