Three months after the visit of the surveyors (who are professionals practicing in healthcare establishments, mandated by the HAS, editor’s note) of the HAS, carried out from January 17 to 21, 2022, the college of this independent body rendered its decision, certifying the Chartres hospital center for four years. It is thus recognized for the “Confirmed quality of care”.

Palliative care, control of the medication circuit
In a press release, the Hospitals of Chartres specify that “this decision confirms the overall compliance rate evaluated by the HAS at 94%”.
Among the positive points noted:
- Control of the drug circuit for high-risk products;
- Appeal and expertise teams present, available: palliative care, hospital hygiene, transfusion safety, pain, addictology, Permanence of Access to Health Care;
- The dynamism of clinical research;
- The management of exceptional health situations, of which the management of the Covid-19 epidemic crisis was an illustration.
Health professionals from Chartres hospitals demand better working conditions and a salary increase
This good certification result is all the more commendable for all medical and non-medical health professionals as this visit took place in January 2022, in the context of a peak wave of Covid-19.
In addition, the Chartres hospital center is one of the first health establishments to have benefited from this visit, which is directly focused on the service provided to patients.
“Chartres hospitals remain mobilized for the continuous improvement of the quality and safety of the care provided to their patients and to progress on their areas of improvement”, concludes the press release.
