Alyssa Soebandono’s older sister, Ananda Soebandono shared his moments of togetherness with his family on Lebaran Day. As we know, Ananda adheres to a different religion from his family, Mother.
Ananda Soebandono uploaded the portrait of the togetherness on Instagram hers. In the photo, Alyssa Soebandono is seen with Dude Harlino and his two sons.
“Happy Eid Mubarak everyone! God bless you all,” wrote Ananda Soebandono, quoted from Instagram @anandasoebandono.
As we know, Alyssa and Ananda’s parents are Muslim. Alyssa herself decided to wear the hijab. Meanwhile, his brother decided to embrace Christianity since 2016.
Ananda Soebandono admitted that he chose to change his religion after going through many processes in his life.
The decision to change religion is not an easy thing for the man born in 1990. He had received rejection from his parents and younger siblings, Alyssa and Annissa Soebandono.
“Of course with what I experienced, I also told my family, of course there was rejection. My mother still doesn’t think that I will make this decision,” said Ananda Soebandono, quoted from YouTube Diaspora TV.
He said that at that time his younger siblings didn’t even think of him as a brother. Alyssa Soebandono is known to have sent a long message to her sister, Mother.
“It’s really like you’re not considered a brother. ‘Mas, don’t you love Daddy? Don’t you love your family? Don’t know what sin done‘,” said Ananda Soebandono.
After a dispute with his family, Ananda Soebandono chose to leave the house. He then decided to live alone.
“It really was a sour relationship between me and my family,” he said.
