Jose Mourinho admits that he really enjoys training AS Roma this season. He is determined to end this exciting season with a trophy.
Roma will host Leicester City at the Olimpico in the semi-final second leg Europa Conference League, (6/5/2022) early morning WIB. In the first leg at the Foxes headquarters, the two teams drew 1-1. The hosts must win to advance to the final match.
The Capital Wolves are chasing the Europa Conference League title, which is the only title that is still likely to be won this season. In the domestic competition, Roma appeared less promising with Jose Mourinho filling the manager’s seat earlier this season.
The Special One has difficulty bringing Il Lupi to appear consistent. Roma is now only in fifth place A league with 59 points.
They certainly failed to get a Champions League ticket after being 10 points behind Juventus in fourth with three games remaining. While in the Coppa Italia, Roma’s gait stopped in the quarters.
Although the results of the domestic competition were less than satisfactory, Mourinho emphasized that he enjoyed gushing Roma. He wants to have fun times with the team from the Italian capital this season with trophies. Therefore, he aims for the champion in Europa Conference League.
“I’m having fun, I’m happy every day on the training ground and I can’t deny it. Do I want more? Yes. Do I want us to think bigger next season? Yes. But I know the project, I try to give everything I have. and it’s a pleasure to work with the people here,” said Mourinho Football Italia
“I think we deserve to finish the season with something to celebrate, a trophy would be fantastic. To finish in a position where we can play in Europe is also positive. Tomorrow is another big step, I don’t forget and I don’t deny that we played against a team which is good, but so are we,” he explained.
