Two people have been detained and three are wanted after a serious incident in Sofia with harassment between police and traffickers in illegal immigrants.
Last night, a car with Kardzhali registration refused to stop at a signal from a police team on Sofia’s Europa Blvd. The driver of the car then tries to escape.
Police cars that were in the area began a chase.
Eventually, while trying to escape to the Ring Road, the driver of the car with Kardzhali registration lost control and turned near the road.
Using the darkness, three people from the car managed to escape and are wanted by the police.
Two people were detained – the driver and his companion. According to sources in the services, these are people who have been involved in the trafficking of illegal migrants.
There are no serious injuries in the car.
Sofia police are still searching for the three who managed to escape. They are believed to be illegal migrants.
The case is under investigation.
