Sarah Jessica Parker, Cardi B, Lizzo or Naomi Campbell ignite the red carpet

On May 2 in New York, the annual Met Gala brought together the fine flower of cinema, music, fashion and social networks, for a “red carpet” worthy of the most select of evenings: the most elegant outfits, the most extravagant looks, the dressiest dresses.

After two editions canceled by the pandemic, the beginning of May is marked by the return of the Metropolitan Museum gala in New York. Orchestrated by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of the American edition of Voguethe most select step climb on the planet offered a dazzling parade.

As every year, the stars must respect a dress code. For this edition, the theme was “Gilded glamour”, a reference to the “Gilded Age”, the golden age in the United States during the 19th century.

Gigi Haddid, Blake Lively, Lizzo, Sarah Jessica Parker or even Cardi B ignited the red carpet by collaborating with big names in fashion. And cocorico, a French touch appeared on the podium: Léna Mahfouf, alias Léna Situations on YouTube, becomes the first French influencer to tread the steps of the Metropolitan Museum.
