Ferreira notably took advantage of the approximation of the opposing defense and a non-challenging back pass which had forced the opposing goalkeeper to venture 40 meters from his goal.
He had intercepted the ball in depth addressed to a Houston striker but clumsily freed himself.
Ferreira quickly recovered the leather and tried his luck from the half of the field. A daring gesture rewarded by this very beautiful goal.
