CILEGONKOMPAS.com – PT Transportation of Rivers, Lakes and Crosses (ASDP) Indonesia Ferry recorded the number of vehicles at the peak of the Lebaran homecoming flow in 2022 in Peacock Harbor reached the highest number, compared to normal days and the previous Lebaran homecoming.

At least 195,317 vehicles and 829,193 people were crossed to Sumatra during the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow.

Even on D-3 or Friday (29/4/2022), it recorded the highest number of vehicles. On that day, as many as 37,692 vehicles were crossed using 45 ships with 126 trips.

Meanwhile, the highest number of passengers occurred on D-2 Lebaran or Saturday (30/4/2022), which was 165,517.

“The Ministry of Transportation’s initiation of increasing dock capacity through the addition of dock operations in Ciwandan, Indah Kiat, and Bojonegara is one of the solution steps to overcome the queues that occurred at the peak of the homecoming flow yesterday,” said Ira.

In addition, Ira asked service users to buy ferry tickets at least one day or a maximum of 60 days before departure.
