Rema 1000 owner Reitan is now starting a new store chain for the big cities. The name will be Innom, and the first will open at Grünerløkka on 5 May.
– Stop by is an innovative mix between convenience and groceries – the best of both worlds. Here we will test the store of the future for urban customers with high demands for both simplicity and responsibility, says Reitan Retail manager Ole Robert Reitan in a press release.

Not shop. Not kiosk
Thus, it becomes a kind of middle ground between the two Reitan chains 7 Eleven and Rema. In addition, there will be a feature bakery.
Innom offers a selection that is even better adapted to the neighborhood, while we make it easy for people in everyday life, as we do best. We start at Grünerløkka and will learn from this store before we possibly build more, says Reitan.
The starting point should be the following:
- Grocery store: 3000 groceries at Rema prices.
- Kiosk: About 80 ready-to-eat ready meals and healthy snacks. Among other things, poké bowls, wraps, salads, smoothies, oatmeal and spread baguettes.
- Bakery: Own bakery in the store with over 50 different breads and baked goods.
City concept
“Stop by should be a place you want to stop by for a coffee on the way to work, a snack on the way from training, freshly made croissants for breakfast or just milk and bread,” says general manager Havva Kara, who has led the work. to develop the concept and who will run the store in the start-up phase.
– I am very much looking forward to showing people at Grünerløkka the new store. Stop by and tell us what you think, says Havva, who has 10 years behind him in the REMA 1000 system.
