Honor has been the subject of full US sanctions in recent years, which were originally directed against sister company Huawei. Because of this, the company once offered devices only with a truncated version of Android, and a number of devices offered in the country went through a large diet.

As early as 2020, however, Honor became independent and, under the leadership of its new owner, is now trying to gain its original reputation on the European market. An aggressive pricing policy obviously wants to achieve this, as evidenced by the new Magic4 Lite 5G, which is offered in stores for CZK 6,990. It has elements of equipment that are typical especially for more expensive categories of smartphones.

For example, the device offers fast 66W charging, thanks to which a fully discharged battery is charged to 50% in just 15 minutes and to 81% in 30 minutes. For example, the significantly more expensive iPhone 13 Pro offers only 20W charging. The large-capacity battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh can handle up to 16.8 hours of social media browsing, 12.8 hours of video watching or 25.6 hours of calling on a single charge.

An advantage from the news from Honor is also the 6.81-inch FullView display. In this price category, it is not very common for the touch panel to boast a fast 120Hz refresh rate, which comes in handy when playing games and watching videos. By the way, the screen offers Full HD resolution (2388 x 1080 pixels).

By the way, the frames around the screen are narrower than most competing smartphones in this price category, measuring only 1.05 mm. The screen thus occupies 94% of the front of the phone, which is also reflected in the pleasing design, which by the way is strictly symmetrical.

The heart of the phone is the Snapdragon 695 5G platform, which combines a 6nm processor with a Qualcomm Adreno graphics processor and a Qualcomm Kryo 660 processor. Thanks to this chip, 5G connectivity is also available.

Also noteworthy is the Turbo Turbo technology, which moves part of the storage to the capacity of the operating memory. Thanks to this technology, the physical 6 GB of RAM can be expanded up to 8 GB. The storage itself offers a capacity of 128 GB. Everything works under the guidance of the Android 11 operating system.
