Bayreuth Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (BMTG) organizes a first aid course for tourist guides

Just in case: rescuer 112

A total of 34 tour guides accepted the offer of the BMTG last week and completed the compact course “Lifesaver 112” in the BRK Education and Competence Center. How important it is that the tour guides are prepared, can help quickly in an emergency and make the right decisions is shown by the number of almost 5,000 tours that are organized by the BMTG each year. Because with more than 60,000 participants during this period, it is inevitable that one or the other emergency may occur.

After the first aid course financed by the city of Bayreuth, the participants met for a tour guide evening with a cozy get-together in the Herzogkeller.

According to Sandra Baumann, Head of Tourist Information Bayreuth, there was very positive feedback from the tour guides afterwards. The refresher was very instructive and gives additional security during guided tours.
