Civil status, population censuses, burials, the Archives of Bordeaux Métropole continue to put new resources online for genealogical, professional or leisure research. A dedicated section facilitates access to digitized documents.
Are concerned :
- The parish registers and civil status of more than 100 years of date of the communes of Ambarès-et-Lagrave, Bordeaux, Bruges, Le Bouscat, Haillan and Pessac, as well as the civil status of more than 100 years of the former commune of Caudéran, attached to Bordeaux on February 12, 1965;
- The censuses of the population over 75 years of the municipalities of Blanquefort (1906-1968), Bordeaux (1820-1936), Bruges (1931, 1936), Caudéran (1921-1946) and Le Bouscat (1820-1936. The next digitization campaign will concern the municipalities of Ambarès-et-Lagrave, Le Haillan and Pessac whose registers are currently available for consultation in the reading room;
- The burial registers of the Chartreuse Bordeaux cemetery from 1814 to 1952.
The offer continues to grow as the annual digitization campaigns progress.
