Activision Blizzard has come under fire for the umpteenth time in a short time for allegedly violating the rights of its employees. The Communications Workers of America (CWA), a union that some of its employees are affiliated with, alleges that one of those employees was threatened after sharing an article about the pending lawsuit with colleagues. The CWA has filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
While the lawsuit is still pending and so nothing is set in stone, complaints of this nature are not unique in this matter. Activision Blizzard has allegedly tried to thwart the lawsuit in several ways, is accused of destroying evidence and is said to have repeatedly thwarted employees who tried to improve their working conditions, although the latter made a bid when it came to the issue surrounding it. In the complaint of the CWA, which you here can see, the union claims that a manager threatened employees. The person in question stated that employees were not allowed to discuss salary, working hours and working conditions on Slack, a communication tool used within the company.
The Gamer has contacted Activision Blizzard following the release of this complaint, but has not yet received a response at the time of publishing this news item.
