The affiliates and affiliates of IOMA, can now apply the flu vaccine, with 100% coverage in the affiliated pharmacies (see map and list). In this first stage, people 65 years of age or older can access, who must attend directly with their ID and Digital Credential..

- For vaccination in these IOMA health centers, affiliates and affiliates of sixty-five (65) years or older must attend only with DNI and Digital Credentialthe prescription or order of application is not necessary.
- While the people with risk pathologies under 65 years of age, must have the indication or other document that proves the pathology.
For the second stage, neither do they need a prescription or application order for the population under sixty-five (65) years of age that prove risk factors and have been vaccinated through the 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021 Vaccination Campaign. This group also includes pregnant women in any trimester of pregnancy, postpartum within 10 days of leaving the maternity (who have not been vaccinated during pregnancy), with proof of pregnancy, birth or puerperium.
Those who recently turned 65 years of age or are under that age, have risk pathologies and did not receive the vaccine in the aforementioned periods, must present themselves at the participating pharmacies with the prescription (on paper or electronic) and order with the diagnosis of the treating medical professional, on paper or digital.

IMPORTANT:
- People with risk factors will NOT require a medical prescription as an exclusionary requirement for vaccination. Instead, they will be asked to present any documentation that certifies the existence of pre-existing illnesses.
- Vaccination is completely free, since the application and disposable material are covered.
- Flu vaccines can be applied together with others, including COVID-19.
- Although there are NO medical contraindications to administer vaccines in patients with COVID-19, it is recommended to postpone immunization until clinical and epidemiological discharge, in order to avoid viral transmission and spread of the disease.
- The importance of influenza vaccination for the population at risk is recalled, since this preventive action reduces complications, hospitalizations, deaths and sequelae caused by influenza virus infection.
