At the time, the game was announced along with a reveal trailer that shows images inside the engine or, in other words, images that don’t represent what the actual game would look like. In-engine trailers are not CGI trailers, but they always look better than the finished product. In other words, the trailer lacked gameplay.
It has been almost two years since the game was revealed and since then the media and information has been blackened. The game has yet to be released, leaving many fans wondering what’s going on with it. At the time of the announcement, the game was said to be in the early stages of development, but fans didn’t understand that this would mean it would be two years and counting before they could see the title again.
For now, Xbox and developer Turn 10 Studios aren’t talking about the game just yet, but a new leak has surfaced online that not only reveals a first look at the actual game, but reveals that it could indeed be a multi-generational release. The leak comes from the way reddit It’s accompanied by media purportedly showing the game in play on Xbox One last summer. There is no doubt about the authenticity of the photos. They passed a sniff test and then some, but there is no evidence that the images were taken from the Xbox One version of the game other than allegations of a leak. However, if the leaker gains access to these images, it is safe to assume that the supplementary details are also accurate.
So why are fans divided over the leak? Well, because it claims and apparently reveals that the game is multi-generational after the title was previously announced as next-gen and PC-only. Why is this a problem? Well, for some – especially those using Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and high-end PCs – the concern is that having the game on Xbox One will limit the game’s capabilities as it will have to be done within the confines of legacy technology.
