A man has died after a vehicular accident crushed him between two parked cars on a Brooklyn street, New York City Police said.
The 46-year-old victim was reportedly standing between the two vehicles when a driver moving by East 89th Street collided with a double-parked car, according to authorities.
The crash sent the double-parked car into the two vehicles the man was standing in. It was not immediately clear what caused the initial crash.
The uniformed said that the accident occurred in Canarsie around 9:30 am on Saturday.
The man was removed from the scene and taken to Brookdale Hospital, where staff pronounced him dead.
Police arrested the driver who crashed. An investigation is ongoing.
