Dijon. Arrested by the noise coming from his bag, the police discover… A living lamb

If some small dogs can easily be transported in a bag, this is not necessarily the case for all animals. This is what the police officers of the Dijon motorcycle brigade (Côte-d’Or) must have recalled, who carried out a most unusual seizure on Tuesday April 26, 2022. A man was discovered in possession of a live lamb on the public road, reports The Public Good.

Fine of €135

The facts occurred in the morning. On patrol in the town, the agents were arrested by the movements and the noise coming from the bag of a man who was at a bus stop, reports the local newspaper. It was while checking it that the police discovered the animal.

The man was not able to justify his origin, explain our colleagues. The lamb was therefore taken from him for safekeeping and he was fined €135.
