In the city of Columbus, Ohio in the United States, a garbage man saved a life in a dumpster.

David Carlson was unloading dumpsters in a downtown Columbus neighborhood last week when he discovered a puppy in a large trash can.
He warns his manager
David called his supervisor Logan Sieg who came to the scene. When he saw the puppy in pain in the dumpster, he didn’t hesitate for a second. He entered the dumpster to lift the puppy out of the dumpster.
After the two men rescued the pup, they contacted Franklin County Dog Shelter who took the dog into their care.
The pooch had a few sores on his hind legs and was checked out by a veterinarian.
A new life
Fortunately, the rest of the story is very positive. The 6 month old puppy met his new family very quickly.
He was renamed Duke and has already been adopted!
Indeed, when Brandon Dawson and his wife came to the shelter, Duke approached the couple and jumped on them to give them a hug.
They literally fell in love with Duke, and reciprocally, the doggie didn’t want to let them go. The couple therefore adopted Duke and he is currently making his mark in his new family!
