Film – Berlin:“Ladybitch” is best feature film at “Achtung Berlin”

Berlin (dpa / bb) – The directorial debut “Ladybitch” was awarded best feature film at the film festival “Achtung Berlin”. The autobiographical debut of the directing duo Paula Knüpling and Marina Prados aims to “shed light on the gray areas of abuse”. “Anima – My Father’s Clothes” by Uli Decker was awarded the best documentary film. “We are delighted with the courageous decisions of the juries, which awarded films with concerns, attitude and at the same time artistic standards,” said the festival management. The festival showed around 70 films within a week and was supposed to end with the awards ceremony on Wednesday evening.
