German pianist and improviser Pablo Held has been chosen as the artist of the opening concert of the concert cycle “Atmosphere” on April 30. He collaborates with jazz greats such as John Scofield and Chriss Poter.
In the four-season concert series, four artists will present the essence of their “Atmosphere”: on April 30, German pianist and composer Pablo Helds, on August 20, Latvian vocalist, composer Līva Dumpe, on September 10, American vocalist, composer and guitarist Sam Amidon Mexican vocalist, composer and poet Fuensanta Mendez will perform on the stage of “Gora” in the beginning of 2023.
Each of the artists will give a master class to Jānis Ivanovs Rezekne Music High School students, other musicians and those interested, which will also be broadcast live at the Latgale Embassy “Gors” Facebook per page. The master class of the artist of the first concert Pablo Held will take place on April 30 at 13.00 in Latgale Embassy “Gors”.
