Inter Milan throw away the opportunity to shift AC Milan from the top A league. Winning first, the Nerazzurri lost 1-2 to Bologna.
The match at Renato Dall Ara, Thursday (28/4/2022) early morning WIB, was a postponed match that should have been held in early January. At that time Bologna could not compete due to the COVID-19 storm.
Inter took the early lead through Ivan Perisic but Marko Arnautovic equalized. Bologna’s winning goal was scored in the final 10 minutes of the match through Nicola Sansone.
Inter failed to add points and stuck in second place standings with 73 points from 34 matches, two points off AC Milan at the top. Bologna are in 13th position with 42 points.

Inter, who played aggressively since the initial whistle, immediately took the lead in the fourth minute. Ivan Perisic stabbed in from the right and played a 1-2 pass with Nicolo Barella.
After that, Perisic outwit one player before shooting hard into the top corner of Lukasz Skorupski’s goal. That goal made Inter even more eager to attack the Bologna defense.

Several attacks from the flanks occupied by Perisic and Denzel Dumfries were able to trouble Bologna. Lautaro Martinez wasted a golden opportunity in the eighth minute.
It was started by Federico Dimarco’s kick which was pushed over by Skorupski, the ball rebounded towards Martinez but his shot bounced over the bar.
Inter continued to pound the Bologna defense but several attempts failed. In fact, they conceded a goal in the 28th minute.
Musa Barrow’s cross from the left met Marko Arnautovic at the far post. Winning the aerial duel with Dimarco who lost posture, Arnautovic headed the ball into the corner of Ionut Radu’s goal.

Inter tried to respond in the 33rd minute with Dumfries’ header following Perisic’s cross, but the ball was still flying. Score 1-1 closed the first half.
Inter immediately took the initiative to attack after the break. In the 47th minute, Dimarco had a chance to score, but his shot still flew over the bar.
Difficult to score, Inter then included Alexis Sanchez and Edin Dzeko after an hour of running to sharpen the attacking line.
Those efforts have not yielded results because Bologna defend well. Lautaro got one chance from Calhanoglu’s corner in the 74th minute but it was still flying.
Disaster for Inter came in the 83rd minute while playing the ball in their own defence. Radu failed to hold the ball well and instead rolled into goal, before Nicola Sansone cheated to give Bologna a 2-1 lead!

Two minutes later Inter almost scored through Danilo D’Ambrosio but his shot was cleared by a Bologna player on the goal line.
2-1 score lasted until the end of the game Bologna Vs Inter Milan.
