Jakarta –
The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance announced that assets belonging to Hutomo Mandala Putra alias Tommy Suharto auctioned there are no fans (TAP). This is the second time after the auction on January 12, 2022 with the same result.
DJKN’s Director of Legal and Public Relations, Tri Wahyuningsih Retno Mulyani, said that Tommy Suharto’s assets were declared unsold at auction after passing the bidding deadline today at 10.00 WIB (according to the server). The auction bid is carried out in a closed manner via the internet (closed bidding) conducted by the Class I Auction Officer at the Purwakarta State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).
“Considering that until the specified time limit, which is no later than 1 day before the auction, there are no bidders who register and deposit a security deposit, the execution auction of the State Receivables Affairs Committee (PUPN) conducted by the Purwakarta KPKNL Class 1 Auction Officer is declared None. (TAP) fans,” Retno told reporters, Wednesday (27/4/2022).
It is not yet known whether the third auction of Tommy Suharto’s guaranteed assets will be rescheduled or the assets will be transferred to the state. This is an effort to repay BLBI debt through PT Timor Putra Nasional (TPN).
“There has been no discussion about this (whether the assets will be transferred to the state), the auction has just finished. It will be studied first,” he said.
Previously, it was reported that four of Tommy Suharto’s assets were auctioned. In this second auction, the government has lowered the limit value or the minimum price for finished goods to Rp. 2.151 trillion, from the value of the first auction which was Rp. 2.425 trillion.
Likewise with the amount of the security deposit that was set, so Rp 430.2 billion from the previous Rp 1 trillion. Even so, the decline in the stipulated value still made Tommy Suharto’s assets unsold.
The following assets of Tommy Suharto did not sell at auction:
