April 26, 7 p.m., live stream: “Secret Rulers Bacteria”

We all live with them every day, but we cannot see them: bacteria. In the human body there are even more bacterial cells than human cells. Some types of bacteria are beneficial to health and even essential for life, while others can kill us.

Today, at the virtual regulars’ table of the “The Moment of Truth” series of events, Minister of Science Angela Dorn invites scientists to talk to citizens about useful helpers and multi-resistant “killer germs”.

Guest: Two scientists from the Goethe University: The physician Prof. Volkhard Kempf from the University Hospital Frankfurt and the microbiologist Prof. Volker Müller from the Goethe University. Moderator: Tim Berendonk, NDR.
