“Guys, at this moment I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.” Bachelorette Gerda Lewis (29) no longer understands the world. Her trip to America was a complete success. But as soon as she arrives in Germany, she has trouble with customs!

Arriving at the airport in Germany, it is pulled out by customs. The reason: Brand new Balenciaga shoes shine on her feet. “It was my own fault. I didn’t register it, which I should have done,” admits Gerda. “I didn’t think about it, now I have to pay 350 euros. A third of the price.”
But that’s not all: “Now they just reported me – for tax evasion. Because of 900-euro shoes!” Gerda complains. “I would have understood if I had imported something crass. But that’s just a pair of shoes…”
What Gerda probably didn’t know: If customs discovers undeclared holiday souvenirs with a value of more than 700 euros, criminal proceedings are automatically initiated for attempted tax evasion.
“Let’s see what’s in store for me now,” says Gerda. “I’ll get in touch with my lawyer – and then I’ll be surprised.”

Her hope: “Hopefully the ad will be dropped because I paid the fine.” But something else burns on her influencer soul. The fact that she of all people is caught at the airport does not want to get into her pretty head.
Her suspicion: “Unfortunately, knowing humanity, I have the feeling that it was somehow intentional. By anyone. I’ll tell you honestly, not a single person was pulled out – and I wear these shoes on my feet. The fact that I am the only person to be pulled out and that they only address these shoes is a lot of coincidences at once.”
