Tottenham are preparing a £20m bid for Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries, according to reports.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Tottenham have prepared an offer of 20 million pounds for the Dutch footballer, while Inter are considering accepting an offer of 40 million euros that could come for the defender.

Who is Denzel Dumfries?
Most fans probably first heard the name Denzel Dumfries during the delayed Euro 2020 tournament last summer.
Dumfries lined up for the Netherlands at the European Championship and turned heads with his marauding runs down the right at right back.
His Euro 2020 appearances brought him a lot of attention during the 2021 summer transfer window, during which he moved from PSV to Inter Milan.
Since then, the 26-year-old has continued to impress for Inter, registering five goals and five assists in 29 league appearances as Inter bid to defend their Serie A crown.

Matt Doherty a great miss
Tottenham’s interest in Dumfries comes amid Tottenham’s struggles at the back.
The Lilywhites have several players who can play as full-backs. However, aside from Matt Doherty, none of them have really excelled in this area lately.
As a result, it’s not too surprising to see Tottenham’s form falling off a cliff now that Doherty is injured.
Tottenham had won six of their last seven league games before the Irishman’s injury. However, in the two games since then, the Spurs have not managed a single shot on goal.
