You have to believe that dinosaurs love Chartres… or that Chartres loves dinosaurs. A new exhibition to immerse yourself in the world of prehistory will be set up from this Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Mainvilliers (Eure-et-Loir), opposite the Decathlon store.
The temporary and itinerant museum that goes from town to town, Dino’s World stops for fifteen days in Eure-et-Loir. The organizers promise an extraordinary experience that is truly immersive, as if you were in Jurassic Park!
A traveling exhibition that looks like a museum
It’s a leap of more than 65 million years in time that awaits visitors to discover reproductions of triceratops, velociraptors, pteranodon or even tyrannosaurs!
In addition to these encounters with larger-than-life dinosaurs, Dino’s World also offers the possibility of testing virtual reality to be immersed in the daily life of one of them.
Fun and educational to learn more about dinosaurs!
For the educational side, the children will be able to take part in the “dino-quiz” as soon as they enter the exhibition to try to obtain the diploma of “little paleontologist”. An archaeological excavation workshop should also be set up to discover, by digging with a brush, a dinosaur skeleton.
Finally, a video projection room retraces the extinction of the dinosaurs in 35 minutes.
