Manchester United begins a new era under coach Erik Ten Haga. A real personnel revolution is reportedly planned for Old Trafford this summer, and according to Rio Ferdinand, up to 15 players could leave.
The current season is going badly for the “Red Devils”. Transfers that were good at first glance and should have given the team a chance to fight for the highest goals, proved to be not very successful. The hiring of Ralf Rangnick as a coach did not bring the expected results either.
A club from the red part of Manchester confirmed a few days ago that Erik ten Hag would start a new era and Manchester United would go through a big coaching revolution in the summer. The Dutchman was given a free hand to build a team that would be able to cope with success a few years ago.
There is no doubt that there are several players in the current staff of Manchester United who will leave Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer period. Names like Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani are mentioned, while former “red devils” player Rio Ferdinand claims that up to 15 players will pack their things.
“Erik the Hag would have to be Einstein for things to change quickly. How did Manchester United get into such a situation? I have never experienced a collapse at such a pace before, ” Rio Ferdinand thought of his YouTub Channel.
“It’s disturbing, but we knew this time would come. There must be a major overhaul. I think about 15 players will pack their things. Has anything like this ever happened to this club? ” asked a question from Rio Ferdinand.
The summer transfer window will also be affected by whether Manchester United qualifies for next Champions League season. At the moment, this seems unlikely, as the loss to 4th place is already six points after the weekend loss to Arsenal (1: 3) and the current mood of the team does not indicate an improvement in performance.
In addition, the “red devils” have a match ahead of their closest table competitors.
