– I know it sounds ridiculous since I do not use him that much, but he is a world-class striker. Our best finish, the German manager announced after Origi had once again come to the rescue and saved the club when he first got a rare chance. The 2-0 victory over Everton means that Liverpool is once again only one point behind Manchester City – with five games left.

He has had several such important goals since his debut for Liverpool on September 12, 2015. He had a similar role and became the savior most recently in the away match against Wolverhampton in December. Then he fixed three points on his own.

In recent seasons, he has not had as many chances, but he does not complain and takes the minutes he gets. On Sunday he got 30 minutes.

Divock Origi leaves Liverpool for the summer and could quickly end up in Milan. Against Everton he was involved in the first goal of Andy Robertson and even put in the 2-0 goal five minutes before the end.

Then it was perhaps no coincidence that “Div” scored against the city rival. He has incredible statistics against Everton with six goals in nine games.

Jürgen Klopp has previously stated that he hopes Origi will come to a club and a manager who will use him more than they have done in Liverpool.

This season he stood with two goals and 71 (!) Minutes in five Premier League matches before he was asked to deliver again.

He will have a few more minutes before leaving Anfield.
