Germany is 357,588 square kilometers in size – and is therefore significantly smaller than the USA, which is clearly “superior” to the Federal Republic with 9,525,067 square kilometers in terms of area.
Four of the 50 states of the USA are even larger than the Federal Republic of Germany in terms of area – not none, twelve or all. These are Alaska (1,717,854 km²), Texas (695,621 km²), California (423,970 km²) and Montana (380,838 km²).

For comparison: The Federal Republic of Germany, founded in 1949, has consisted of 16 federal states since 1990 and is a free, democratic and social constitutional state. The population of Germany is 83,129,285. With 232 inhabitants per square kilometer, today’s Germany is one of the densely populated area states.
