The south and center of Hesse in particular will feel the effects of a low pressure area over southern and south-western Europe on Sunday: the meteorologists in Offenbach am Main say there will be mostly heavy clouds in these regions persistent rain ahead.
The north of the federal state is a little better off, according to the DWD there will only be some rain or short rain showers here on Sunday. However, there is often no precipitation here.
According to the weather service, the temperature in Hesse reached maximum values between 12 and 15 degrees in sunshine on Sunday. A moderate north-easterly wind is blowing, which can swell to sometimes strong gusts in the northern mountains.

According to the weather service, it will remain pleasantly warm in Hesse on Tuesday with a peak of 14 to 16 degrees.
The wind will therefore be weak to moderate from the north-east.
