Football – Freiburg im Breisgau – Shoulder injury: Season out for Freiburg’s Weißhaupt – Sport

Freiburg (dpa) – According to his coach, offensive talent Noah Weißhaupt from SC Freiburg will be out for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (3:3), reported coach Christian Streich. “He’s in the dressing room and everything has been postponed,” said the 56-year-old. “It hurts me. He was on a great path. But he’ll come back and continue on his way.”

Weißhaupt had only been substituted on at the Baden Bundesliga team during the break. After a fall on his shoulder, he had to leave the field again in the 55th minute.
