Bucks edge Bulls to retake series lead

Grayson Allen made five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points as the Milwaukee Bucks led the Chicago Bulls 111-81 on Friday to take a 2-1 lead in the first-round postseason series despite being without the injured Khris Middleton.

Giannis Antetokounmpo added 18 points, Bobby Portis had 18 points and 16 rebounds and the defending champions made it look easy after two poor home games.

After its home games, Milwaukee virtually silenced the raucous crowd that watched Chicago’s first postseason game at the United Center in five years. The Bucks took a 24-point lead in the second quarter and held on for the rest of the game.

They expect Middleton to miss the rest of the series after spraining his left knee in Wednesday’s loss. The 4th will take place on Sunday in Chicago.

Antetokounmpo, a two-time Most Valuable Player, also finished with nine assists and seven rebounds.
