Head Coconut Two Samsat Bayu Adi Putranto admits that he can’t explain why it exists tax evasion in his office, which is currently being investigated by the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati). Regarding the embezzlement of car tax money from the embezzled depositor from June 2021 to February 2022, he admitted that he did not understand.
“Because it’s a system, I’m afraid there will be an error from me explaining it, it’s better to go to the center (Bapenda Banten) because the system is in the center,” said Bayu when asked for confirmation via a cellular telephone, Saturday (23/4/2022).
Bayu admitted that he was only a technical officer as the head of the Kelapa Dua Samsat. So he was reluctant to explain further about his employees who were caught in tax evasion corruption.
“We’re just technical,” he said.
Regarding the return of IDR 6 billion from the suspect in tax evasion, he also doesn’t know because it’s all already in the Bapenda (Regional Revenue Agency). He could not answer further.
“Everyone at Bapenda can clarify this matter,” he said.
The head of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, announced the determination of four suspects in the corruption case of embezzlement of tax payments at Samsat Kelapa Dua. The suspects are Head of Collection and Deposit Zulfikar, Samsat civil servant Ahmad Prio, honorary cashier M Bagja Ilham, and Budiono, a former Samsat employee and Samsat application maker.
