Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – Saturday starts for people in Hesse with a mix of clouds and sun. It stays dry with temperatures up to 20 degrees, in the mountains up to 14 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday. In addition, moderate winds are expected from the east, with wind gusts of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour occasionally occurring in the northern half and at high altitudes. The wind and the strong gusts ease off a bit in the lowlands in the evening. During the night on Sunday there will be showery rain south of the Main and the temperatures will drop to up to five degrees, in the mountains to up to four degrees.
On Sunday there will be strong gusts and wind from the north-east, especially at noon, and individual gusts of wind of around 55 kilometers per hour are expected again in the mountains. Clouds and sun alternate and the rain continues, especially in the south. The daily highs are up to 15 degrees, at high altitudes around 10 degrees. In the evening, the wind and rain subside and temperatures drop to up to four degrees at night, and down to two degrees in the mountains.
On Monday there will be showers again during the day. In the west, isolated thunderstorms and local heavy rain as well as strong gusts are to be expected. The temperatures rise up to 17 degrees, in the mountains up to ten degrees. During the night there will be showery rain, especially in the south-west, and the temperatures will drop to up to four degrees, in the mountains up to three degrees.
