Mikhail Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the president’s office, said Ukraine was preparing powerful counter-offensives against groups in the Russian Federation, Ukraine 24 reported.
According to the circulated information, the tactics and strategy of Ukraine is to get more artillery and heavy armored vehicles. The armed forces must then launch very powerful counterattacks against enemy groups.
“They will want to enter the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions and try to fight our armed forces in Ukraine, and receive blows,” Podoliak said. A day earlier, he said that after fleeing the Kyiv region, Russian troops had decided to try to win at least some victory in the Donbass.
How events will unfold there will be clear in a week and a half. Podoliak also noted that the Ukrainian defense forces have no choice but to tactically win victories in Donbass.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders have intensified hostilities in the Donbass, and have also concentrated 25 battalion tactical groups in the Izyum direction.
At the same time, the Russian Federation continues to suffer losses in the east, where on April 21 the defense forces repulsed ten enemy attacks.
