The next trading Sunday will fall on June 26.
As a reminder, a stricter ban on trading on the last day of the week will apply from 2020. Shopping can only be done on seven Sundays: the last Sunday in January, April, June and August, and on the two consecutive Sundays before Christmas and on the Sunday before Easter.
Recall that the act introducing a gradual ban on Sunday trading entered into force on March 1, 2018. However, a catalog of 32 exceptions has been provided for from the principle of the prohibition of trade on that day.
Therefore, the prohibition does not cover, inter alia, postal activities, and also does not apply to: pastry shops, ice cream parlors, liquid fuel stations, flower shops, newspaper shops and cafes.
