YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma’ruf Amin also highlighted the case of the Attorney General’s Office for establishing a suspect in cooking oil corruption.
This was said by Ma’ruf Amin in a press conference session while visiting the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) laboratory in Yogyakarta, Friday (22/4) afternoon.
Ma’ruf Amin hopes that in the near future the government can overcome the shortage by maximizing the operation of the special market for bulk cooking oil.
“I think the president has been firm, investigate thoroughly. And the price that must be suppressed is the price of bulk cooking oil. The packaging does follow the price of the economy, but the bulk is still being pressured by the government and carrying out market operations everywhere,” said Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin.
In addition, Ma’ruf Amin hopes that oil prices will return to normal.
“In the not too distant future, prices will return to normal,” he explained.
