The NBA unveiled this Friday the best-selling jerseys in the league in the period corresponding to the second half of the 2021-22 season.
Lakers star LeBron James holds the top spot despite his team falling short of expectations and eventually being eliminated from the playoffs. This shows that “King James” is still the most popular player in the NBA.
Second place is held by James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers, a team he joined in February after a trade with the Brooklyn Nets. The “Beard” is currently with a 3-0 lead in their playoff series against the Toronto Raptors.
Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors ranks third. The star point guard was out for a month between March and April but he is already recovered and his team is close to leaving the Denver Nuggets on the road.
The top five spots are completed by Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum, who are facing off right now. Boston leads 2-0 in its confrontation with the Brooklyn Nets, a series that will have its third chapter on Saturday night at Barclays Center.
Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant and Kyrie Irving round out the top 10.
