Jakarta (ANTARA) – Microsoft has officially launched a PC Game Pass subscription service in five countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.
“Our goal is to bring PC Game Pass to more countries where Windows is available to help us reach over 3 billion gamer around the world,” said Xbox Asia business chief Jeremy Hinton, quoted in a press release on Friday.
Prior to launch, Microsoft opened PC Game Pass previews in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines at the end of March. Hinton said during the trial period yesterday, they received a lot of requests from Southeast Asia.
The feedback they receive, among other things, increases the choice game cross types and use better language.
During the promotion period, PC Game Pass can be enjoyed with a subscription fee of Rp. 14,999. After that, they will be charged a subscription fee of IDR 49,999.
Microsoft gives about 100 game for PC Game Pass, including Xbox Game Studios releases and game from Bethesda Softworks. Subscription fees are also included for EA Play membership.
Content already on PC Game Pass includes Age of Empires IV, Back 4 Blood, Forza Horizon 5, Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy, Hades, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Meanwhile, the first day of the Xbox Game Studios release was Halo Infinite.
User can play game Bethesda Softwork outputs such as DOOM, Wolfenstein, Dishonored, and The Evil Within. For EA Play, game available include FIFA, Battlefield, The Sims, and Mass Effect.
