The search continues to try to find Joseph Golatka.
This resident of Folschviller (Moselle), 69 years old and suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, has not given any sign of life since Friday April 15, 2022.
Unsuccessful searches so far
For the moment, the gendarmerie company of Forbach indicates that the searches have not made it possible to find the sexagenarian. These materialized in the form of beaten mobilizing gendarmes, track dogs and one helicopter.
The investigations then turned to smaller areas, where Joseph Golatka would have been formally seen in recent days. But again, the search turned up nothing.
Investigations continue
To date, the gendarmerie is endeavoring to make contact with hospitals, police stations, or any other structure that has been likely to be able to accommodate the sixty-something. Citizens have also organized search parties on their own initiative. The latest left this Thursday morning from the town hall of Folschviller.
The gendarmerie company of Forbach invites the owners of land in the surrounding area to monitor their properties and their shelters, in the event that the sixty-year-old has sought refuge there.
As a reminder, during his disappearance, Joseph Golatka, who measures 1.70 m for 65 kilos, wore blue jeans, a green and black striped sweater and a black vest. He has gray hair and wears glasses.
Anyone likely to have seen Joseph Golatka or to have information is invited to contact the Folschviller gendarmerie at 03 87 92 10 17.
