PURWOREJOKOMPAS.com – A fatal accident occurred in Bagelen District, PurworejoCentral Java, between Pure Jaya bus the “bullfight” with the Efficiency bus. As a result of the incident, the bus driver Murni Jaya died on the spot.

At that time, the Murni Jaya bus with police number A 7790 KL from the east (Yogyakarta) driven by Slamet Heru Subagiyo (50), a resident of Purwodadi District, Purworejo, overtook the truck. Meanwhile, from the west, the Efficiency bus with the police number AA7023 OD overtook the minibus.

“The accident was more precisely on the Purworejo-Jogja KM 10 road, this bullfight accident resulted in the driver Pure Jaya Bus a/n Slamet Heru Subagiyo, address Purwodadi Village, RT4 RW 2, Purwodadi District, died at the TKP,” he said on Thursday (21/4/2022)

Hariyono added that the efficiency bus driver was seriously injured and suffered fractures in his left hand and right leg and left leg. Meanwhile, one passenger of the Murni Jaya bus suffered minor injuries and the victims were rushed to the hospital.

“The Pure Jaya bus for the Jakarta-Jogja route and the Efficiency bus for the Cilacap-Jogja route were driven by Rudi Respendi (40), a resident of Brebes Regency, Central Java,” he said.

The two buses are expected to collide at high speed due to overtaking positions. As a result of the bull fight, the bodies of the two buses were crushed. The Purworejo-Yogyakarta national road also experienced long traffic jams because the two buses crossed the middle of the road.
