For the second consecutive year, the famous Parisian fashion house Chanel reopens the doors of one of its exclusive ephemeral summer boutiques in the Marbella Club of the popular Andalusian town on the Costa del Sol. One of the main and most international tourist enclaves among which the Spanish geography counts, and to which the French house landed for the first time in its entire history last July 2021 with the launch of its first store in Marbella. An experience with which it managed to generate as much expectation as interest among its select community of clients, in what has finally led the maison to decide, not only to repeat the initiative for a second year, but to reinforce it.

Thus confirming its interest and raising the profile of the Mediterranean town to the level enjoyed by a small group of select European tourist destinations such as Saint-Tropez, on the French Côte d’Azur, or the Italian island of Capri, in the Bay of Naples, Chanel It will keep the doors of its new ephemeral store in the Marbella Club open from this past April 11 and until October 31, 2022. A much longer period of time than the store was operational during the past summer season. A summer of 2021, we still must not forget that it was very strongly marked by the effects of the pandemic, in which the Chanel boutique remained open in the Spanish tourist town from only July 9 until September.

With the exclusive Chanel Coco Beach 2022 summer collection

Having from its interior a relaxed atmosphere similar to that offered by the house during its 2021 experience, and this being perfectly aligned with the taste and DNA of the French house and those of its different proposals, Chanel has come to occupy the same space in the Marbella Club that he occupied during the past summer. A kind of villa reconfigured into a spacious boutique, which can be accessed through two entrances, one located at street level and with access from outside the resort, and another on the hotel terrace. This last point of access has been designed as a refreshing summer patio, with native plants and the placement of summer cane furniture.

With an area of more than 160 square meters, the space has been organized around 3 spacious rooms, in which the regulars of the house will find a wide selection of the latest novelties of the different lines of the firm. A careful series of pieces, among which the Chanel prêt-à-porter collection for this season stands out as the protagonists of the first of the salons that customers can access Spring/Summer 2022. Proposal that, within this same environment, will be completed with the garments of the collection Crafts 2021/2022for those of its Cruise 2022/2023 pre-collection —a collection that will not be presented until May 5, 2022—, and finally for those of the collection Fall/Winter 2022/2023; proposal dedicated to tweed, Chanel’s fetish fabric, which the French house presented at the beginning of this month of March in Paris.

Continuing with the staggered and L-shaped layout of the boutique, from this first room located opposite the access from the restaurant terrace, customers, passing in front of the display case with items from Chanel’s eyewear line, They access the second of the store’s rooms. A space dedicated to its lines of footwear, bags and accessories, dominated, in the field of fashion, by the house’s new Chanel 22 bag, available in summery shades; and from a decorative point of view, by a large suede sofa, inspired, in its most summery version, by the mythical sofa that the French designer herself had in her Parisian apartment on rue de Cambon.

From this point, and passing through a pair of arcades highlighted in black, in line with the “black&white” binomial that governs the setting of the boutique, the last of the three rooms is accessed. An environment once again dedicated to the house’s prêt-à-porter lines, in this case with a varied selection of garments, offered together with the exclusive Chanel Coco Beach 2022 summer collection. Chanel’s swimwear line that is “unique and exclusively” available, they point out from the French house, in a select and small number of its points of sale worldwide, including this ephemeral Chanel boutique in the Marbella Club.
