In October last year, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez announced that they were expecting twins by posting a picture of the ultrasound.
On Monday, however, Ronaldo published a heartbreaking post on Instagram where he told that the son had died, while their daughter was welcomed into the world.
It is with our deepest sorrow that we must announce that our son has passed away. The worst pain a parent can feel.
Only the birth of our little girl gives us the strength to get through this moment of hope and happiness. We want to thank doctors and nurses for all the expertise and support. We are all overwhelmed by this loss and we humbly ask you to be left alone during this difficult time.
Our little boy, you are our angel. We will always love you. ”
Ronaldo became the father for the first time in 2010 to Cristiano Jr, 11, and it is still unknown who the mother is. He also has twins Eva and Mateo (2017) via a surrogate mother and daughter Alana Martin who he has with his fiancée Georgina.
