The Ruthenian painter Florian Melloul who is, among other things, a follower of urban art and live performances, took over the schools of Réquistanais for a week.
It is welcomed into schools as part of an artistic project led by Kalbéni and Aveyron culture in connection with the mills of Roupeyrac. The poet François Fabié portrayed with infinite tenderness those who surrounded him when he lived at the Roupeyrac mill: his father, his mother, his uncles but also the black cat, which became, through the poem dedicated to him , a real celebrity!
From the written portraits of François Fabié, Florian produced in 2021 painted portraits of the members of the poet’s family: his father, his mother, his uncle… These creations are integrated into the scenography of the mill which is thus “inhabited”. by the contemporary and “figurative” portraits of those close to the poet. Florian worked with the students on a contemporary approach to portraiture, a creative work that combines color and emotions.
The creations made by all the Réquistanais students will be exhibited outside at the Roupeyrac mill during the month of June.
